What’s the Catch? |
|
Actually, there is no catch. · We are not selling anything · We are not making introductory offers to sell you something later. · We are not looking to get our foot in the door to push our own products and services*. · We are not pushing a particular doctrine. We are simply trying to utilize the talents that God has given us to help other organizations further the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do, however, have a list of disclaimers if you’d like to read them. · * Since some of us work for other IT companies in Birmingham, it’s possible they might recommend a product that their company sells but this is not the purpose of IT Ministries and individuals who appear to be using this as an opportunity to sell their products & services should be reported to IT Ministries. · IT Ministries is not an actual company or organization. It is simply a website helping to match up talented IT professionals willing to serve with churches and organizations requiring assistance in related areas. The individuals providing services are volunteers and have no direct affiliation with IT Ministries or its owner. As such your organization should view and treat them as volunteers offering free services to your organization. · In some cases volunteers may provide advice based on their personal experience and knowledge of their industry, however, all final decisions are at the sole-discretion of your organization and are your responsibility. · IT Ministries and its volunteers are not directly or indirectly responsible for property or data that may be lost as a result of providing services to your organization. If you are unwilling to accept full responsibility for your own data and property, please do not request volunteer services. · IT Ministries and its volunteers may refuse to provide services to any organization at any time for any reason. |
